Learning to fly

טוב השבוע היה פשוט שנה! כמה דברים קרו... קודם כל חייבת להודות שהכי כיף לי בעולם. אפילו לא מתלוננת (יותר מדי) כשאני צריכה לקום באמצע הלילה למעקב. אין דבר יותר כיפי. תנו לי רק לחפור בהיסטוריה של אנשים או לגלות משהו קטן שכתוב באנגלית בתחתית הדף ואני כולי אדרנלין. הכי כיף בינתיים זו ההרגשה שאת קמה בבוקר ואין לך מושג לאן תגיעי ולאן החקירה תוביל אותך עד סוף היום. מטיול מודרך מסביב לכפר קאסם ועד להרגיע אישה ספקנית שדווקא הפעם לא נראה שהיא נפלה על נוכל…

מתחילה את הבוקר מחר במשרד בתל אביב ומחכה בקוצר רוח לגלות לאיפה אגיע עד סוף היום…..

This week has been a year! So much stuff has happened.... first of all have to admit that I'm having the best time ever. I don't even complain (too much) when I have to get up in the middle of the night to go on a stakeout. There's nothing that quite compairs.

Let me sift for hours through people's history or to suddenly spot something written on the bottom of a page in English that has been overlooked and I'm pumped with adrenaline.

My favourite part so far is the fact that you set off in the morning with no idea where you'll end up by the end of the day or where the investigation will take you. From a guided tour around the backstreet's of Kfar Kasem to trying to convince a doubt-ridden client that it would seem that for once the guy that she's seeing really isn't a creep...

Starting my morning tomorrow at the office in Tel Aviv and can't wait to see where my day takes me.
